Job summary

Alkermes seeks a Territory Business Manager to lead sales in the Minneapolis territory, educate healthcare providers about Alkermes sleep-disorder products, and support promotional activities. The TBM will apply product knowledge, disease-state expertise, and strong selling skills within the Alkermes model.

Ideal candidates live in the territory, have 5+ years of pharma/biotech sales experience, and can travel up to 80%.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required
• 5+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience
• Must live within geography or 25 miles of key customers
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Alkermes products and disease states
• Use approved sales aids and studies to educate providers
• Identify and call on targeted healthcare provider accounts with appropriate frequency
• Develop and execute territory business plans with the Regional Business Director
• Manage operational expenses and coordinate with cross-functional teams
