Job summary

Mek is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our outpatient sleep medicine practice and sleep laboratory. You will partner with the Medical Director, clinicians, and staff to keep clinical and administrative workflows running smoothly.

You will develop policies, manage staffing and scheduling, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards. Strong organizational and leadership abilities are essential to deliver high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Four+ years in healthcare or ambulatory operations.
• Two+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with sleep medicine or sleep lab operations preferred.
• Experience with healthcare accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• HR processes: staffing, recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinical office and sleep laboratory.
• Manage communications with insurance companies, including prior authorizations for tests, DME, and medications.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and leadership to implement policies and procedures.
• Monitor operations, productivity, patient satisfaction, and KPIs; analyze data for improvements.
• Support HR functions: recruitment, staffing, onboarding, scheduling, evaluations, credentialing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (AASM, Joint Commission).
• Identify challenges and implement solutions to improve efficiency, patient experience.
• Act as liaison among Medical Director, providers, staff, patients, and external organizations.
• Assist with additional administrative responsibilities to support growth.
