Job summary

Holston Medical Group is seeking a Polysomnographer I to administer sleep studies under physician supervision in a multispecialty clinic serving northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

The role requires night shifts, completion of a polysomnography program, and BRPT certification. You will score sleep records, handle patient assessments, and ensure data integrity and safety throughout testing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a polysomnography program from an accredited facility.
• BRPT certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
• The position requires night shift.

Responsibilities

• Implement interventions for patient safety and therapeutic needs during sleep studies.
• Verify data integrity with lights-on procedures and complete data collection.
• Recognize age-specific care needs for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Score sleep/wake stages using AASM guidelines and document clinical events.
• Generate accurate reports from sleep study data and maintain CPR/BCLS certification.
