Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital in Florida is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for night shifts. You will perform sleep studies, manage equipment, and supervise trainees to ensure accurate scoring and patient safety.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care within a leading health system. Ideal candidates hold an RPSGT credential, BLS, and at least three years of polysomnography experience, working Sundays through Tuesdays or Wednesdays through Fridays in a 7:00pm–7:30am

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• RPSGT certification or RST credential required.
• BLS certification required.
• Three years of Polysomnographic Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing and data collection.
• Provide supervision of Polysomnographic Technicians and Trainees.
• Review patient history, medications, and study protocols.
• Complete and verify documentation including sleep questionnaires and notes.
• Explain procedures and orient patients to the sleep center.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment for testing and ensure proper functioning.
• Apply electrodes and sensors according to published standards.
• Assist with scoring sleep/wake stages and clinical events.
• Generate accurate reports by tabulating sleep data and events.
• Follow safety and infection control policies.
