Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Sleep Lab Tech for night shifts to conduct comprehensive sleep studies, calibrate equipment, apply sensors, and monitor data quality. The role supports scoring and reporting for physician review and patient care.

The position requires 0–2 years in polysomnography, RPSGT and BCLS certifications, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced sleep lab environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in polysomnography or related sleep study required.
• RPSGT and BCLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Collects, analyzes, and integrates patient data to determine testing parameters.
• Prepares, calibrates, and adjusts sleep lab equipment for proper functioning.
• Applies electrodes and sensors and conducts PAP mask fitting.
• Conducts tests such as MSLT, MWT, and oxygen titration with accurate data collection.
• Monitors data quality and resolves artifacts to maintain signal integrity.
• Documents sleep stages and events to support scoring and interpretation.
• Implements patient-specific PAP and oxygen therapy as appropriate.
• Scores sleep stages and events and generates reports for physicians.
