Job summary

Sleep Centers of Middle Tennessee is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist for our Murfreesboro sleep lab. Responsibilities include setup, scoring of sleep studies, HSAT testing, and patient education. BRPT/RST/RPSGT credentials are preferred.

The role requires working 7pm–7am up to 3 nights per week with patient care and safety as priorities. Successful completion of a sleep tech program and certification are required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited program leading to a certificate or associate degree with emphasis in sleep technology.
• Completion of a sleep tech program with state licensed/nationally accredited facility or equivalent experience and competency across sleep tech duties.
• Certification by a recognized board and holding the Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up sleep studies for in-center and HSAT testing.
• Score sleep stages and clinical events per guidelines.
• Monitor data acquisition and ensure artifact-free signals.
• Educate patients and ensure safety during procedures.
• Maintain and disinfect portable monitoring devices.
• Document observations to facilitate accurate scoring.
