Job summary

Summit Sleep Services is seeking a Polysomnography Tech for a PRN night shift (7p-7a) in Knoxville, TN. The role involves calibrating equipment, preparing patients, applying EEG/EOG/EMG leads, and monitoring studies to ensure high-quality data.

Qualified candidates will be RPSGT certified through BRPT or eligible, hold TN licensure, and maintain CPR certification. Prior technologist experience preferred. This position requires adherence to clinical protocols and care standards.

Qualifications

• Must be RPSGT certified through BRPT or eligible
• Must be state-licensed in Tennessee (TN)
• Current CPR Certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment calibrations and maintenance on polysomnographic equipment
• Collect and analyze patient information to determine testing parameters
• Prepare patient for testing and explain procedures
• Apply monitoring electrodes and ensure data quality during recordings
• Score sleep stages and events and generate reports
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to sleep lab policies
