Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a Polysom Technician IV - RCP to perform polysomnography and related respiratory care in the Sleep Lab. The role supports pediatric patients and collaborates with the Ambulatory Manager and Medical Director.

Required credentials include Wisconsin RCP licensure, BLS/CPR, and RPSGT/RRT certifications, with prior polysomnography and respiratory therapy experience preferred. Onsite at Milwaukee main hospital, 0.9 FTE night shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Current licensure as a Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• RPSGT and RRT certifications required.
• CPR/BLS certification required for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnography and score per lab standards.
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care as needed.
• Care for Trach/Vent patients when required.
• Explain pre/post-testing procedures to patients and families.
• Maintain sleep lab equipment and inventory.
