Job summary

The Good Shepherd Health Care System is seeking an EEG Technician to join the Sleep Lab team. You will perform adult and pediatric standard and ambulatory EEGs under supervision of the Manager of Sleep Lab and interpreting Neurologist, ensuring accurate data collection and quality reporting.

You will maintain equipment, follow infection control and HIPAA standards, document findings, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or higher in physical or biological sciences preferred.
• ABRET EEG credential required.

Responsibilities

• Performs adult and pediatric standard and ambulatory EEG studies.
• Maintains equipment and ensures infection control and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintains accurate documentation and preliminary reporting for physician interpretation.
• Collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
