Job summary

Medline Industries, Inc. is seeking a sales support professional to provide technical and sales presentation support to help secure new business and ensure customer integration of Medline products.

Responsibilities include pre-sales and post-sales technical consulting, preparing proposals, and researching customer needs. The role requires 75% travel to call on potential and existing customers, GPOs, and IDNs in the assigned territory and presenting feasible, cost-conscious solutions.

Qualifications

• Needs a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years quota-based sales experience with cold calling, or 5 years quota-based sales experience.
• Prior sales experience with hospital/healthcare products preferred.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present technical proposals showing Medline product integration with customer systems.
• Call on potential and existing customers, GPOs, and IDNs to expand or retain product lines.
• Present systems/equipment needs plans to Medline teams for feasibility within cost and time constraints.
• Analyze customer systems and product needs; conduct market and customer research.
• Develop target lists of potential accounts for growth.
• Gather data on customers and support presentations on product enhancements.
• Conduct market research to propose new product ideas and line expansions.
