Qualifications

• Solid problem solving and mechanical aptitude
• Able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform full-penetration and multi-pass welds on structural steel, piping systems, and plate
• Read and interpret drawings, weld symbols, and tolerancing
• Fit, clamp, and align components using jigs and fixtures
• Use flame cutters, plasma torches, gougers, and power tools for shaping materials
• Monitor weld bead profiles and filler metal usage for quality control
• Mentor less-experienced welders and share best practices
