Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Welding Foreman to supervise welding crews on structural steel, piping, and construction projects. You will ensure safety, quality, and compliance with WPS and codes while coordinating daily activities.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong blueprint reading, experience in industrial environments, and mentoring welders. On-site Andrews, TX location with full-time hours and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years welding experience in industrial/structural/construction environments.
• 2+ years supervisory/foreman experience leading welding crews.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints, isometrics, welding symbols, and specs.
• Knowledge of welding codes and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise welding crews to ensure safe, productive, high quality work.
• Plan and coordinate daily welding activities, manpower, equipment, and material requirements.
• Review project drawings, welding procedures, specs, and schedules for proper execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and client requirements.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and reinforce safe work practices.
• Verify welding is per approved Welding Procedure Specifications and codes.
• Coordinate fit-up, welding, grinding, fabrication, and installation activities.
• Monitor weld quality and productivity to meet schedules and standards.
• Collaborate with quality control, inspectors, and project management on welding issues.
• Maintain equipment and tools; ensure proper maintenance and operation.
• Maintain daily reports, production tracking, and project documentation.
• Assist with weld testing, inspections, and corrective actions as needed.
• Train and mentor welders and helpers to improve skills.
• Identify and resolve field issues impacting safety, quality, or timelines.
• Coordinate material deliveries and storage of welding consumables.
