Job summary

Job Juncture in the United States (Iowa - Harlan) seeks a Welder to lay out, fit, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components into structural forms. The role uses MIG/TIG welding, reads blueprints, and ensures quality per work orders, while maintaining 5S in the department.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years MIG/TIG fabrication experience and a related certificate or associate degree; aluminum/stainless TIG experience is a plus. On-site position.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent.
• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• 2-5 years MIG and TIG welding experience in a fabrication environment.
• Aluminum and stainless steel TIG welding experience preferred.
• Must be a problem solver and able to read blueprints.
• Welding certification or technical degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components.
• Welds parts using MIG/TIG equipment and torch welding.
• Assembles parts by bolting and riveting.
• Reads blueprints and ensures product quality per work orders.
• Maintains 5S in the department.
• Communicates changes to ensure consistent output.
