Port Tampa Bay in Tampa, FL seeks a Multi-Trades Worker II to perform a range of skilled trades, renovation, and maintenance across port facilities. The role handles complex repairs, preventative maintenance, and project planning, with potential overtime and weekend work.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in two or more trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry, painting) and a valid FL license or TWIC. Excellent safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of the tenth grade; and
• Three or more years of experience as a skilled trades worker in two or more trades.
• Or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies listed above.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down for events at designated facilities; move furniture and assemble cubicles.
• Perform complex repairs, maintenance or new construction on port buildings and facilities.
• Preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, bridges, systems and HVAC.
• Plan jobs, purchase materials and address safety needs for complex projects.
• Maintain and operate port heavy equipment and vehicles.
