Job summary

Tampa International Airport is seeking a Multitrades Worker II-Projects to join its facilities team. The role requires skilled maintenance across construction, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and related trades, with on-site work including nights, weekends, and holidays.

You will read blueprints, use hand and electrical tools, operate basic equipment, and help install and repair building systems. A high school diploma or GED and experience in multiple trades are required; driver license is

Qualifications

Reading and interpreting blueprints/drawings.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple trades.
Strong safety awareness and use of PPE in construction settings.
Proficient use of hand and electrical tools for building and repair.

Responsibilities

Participates in erection of small structures and complex alterations, repairs and maintenance of plumbing, some electric, and water systems and/or fixtures, brick, cement, and carpentry work.
Repairs and adjusts plumbing and water lines, some electrical wiring and equipment, plastering, furniture, shelves, doors, windows, and machines.
Paints interiors and exteriors of buildings.
Operates power equipment including lathes, drill presses, threading machines, air compressors and gas saws.
Cleans work site upon completion.
Drives a vehicle to and from work sites.
Performs other related duties as required.
