Job summary

The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority - Tampa International Airport is seeking a General Aviation Capital Projects Group Multi-Trades Worker I to maintain facilities across plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, and related trades. This role supports safe, efficient operations and may involve site travel and equipment operation.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, one year in multiple trades or vocational training, and a valid Florida driver license. EOE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in multiple trades (plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance) or vocational training.
• Must possess a valid Florida Driver License.
• Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in erecting structures and alterations as directed by supervisors.
• Performs repairs and adjustments to plumbing systems and related equipment.
• Repairs and maintains drywall, locks, furniture, and roofs.
• Paints interior and exterior surfaces to maintain appearance and protection.
• Conducts repairs on electrical systems and basic wiring.
• Operates lifts and motorized equipment safely for maintenance tasks.
• Maintains clean work sites and follows safety protocols.
• Assists and supports other trades as needed based on requirements.
• Monitors safety hazards and reports maintenance needs identified during inspections.
• Adheres to all safety regulations and PPE usage.
