Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Welder/Fabricator.
• MIG and TIG welding experience required.
• Stainless steel welding experience required.
• Aluminum welding experience is a plus.
• Fabrication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weld stainless steel and aluminum sheets to produce tanks in various positions.
• Identify equipment, material, or operational issues and report them to leadership.
• Clamp, hold, tack weld, heat bend, bolt, and grind materials to meet technical specifications.
• Operate welding equipment and perform welding processes including: TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) and Plasma Arc Welding.
• Control fitting, burning, and welding processes to minimize distortion, overheating, expansion, and shrinkage.
• Examine completed welds and finished products to ensure specifications are met.
• Prepare and set up welding tools and equipment for production.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Follow workflow processes and standard work instructions.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate effectively with team members.
• Contribute ideas for process and workflow improvements.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
