Job summary

Spherion is hiring a TIG Welder for a growing equipment manufacturer in South Beloit, IL. You will perform precise TIG welding on stainless steel and nickel alloy components, fabricate piping and sheet metal systems, and read shop blueprints to guide your work.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional TIG welding experience.
• Must be able to pass ASME Section IX 6G weld test.
• Strong ability to read shop blueprints and technical documentation.
• Background in process piping or sheet metal fabrication is preferred.
• Familiarity with P&ID drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise TIG welding on stainless steel and nickel alloy components.
• Fabricate custom process piping and sheet metal systems from start to finish.

Spherion is hiring a TIG Welder for a growing equipment manufacturer in South Beloit! If you excel at GTAW welding and love seeing clean, detailed work come together from shop blueprints, we want to talk to you. You will join an outcome driven team where your fabrication skills directly impact high quality systems built to last.

Role Highlights

• $26.00 to $30.00 per hour with higher rates negotiable for extensive experience
• Day shift 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday
• Temp to hire or direct hire placement
• Consistent schedule with stable local operations

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring
