Job summary

Centers Laboratory of New Jersey is seeking Phlebotomists to work weekdays from 8 AM to 7 PM at our Paterson, NJ laboratory. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, proper blood draw techniques, specimen labeling, and adherence to safety protocols. Will work across multiple locations and report to the Phlebotomy Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years proven phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to work nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays; strict safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood using proper techniques and PPE.
• Identify patients and prepare specimens for testing.
• Label tubes and ensure correct test ordering.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and a clean workspace.
• Assist with Covid-19 testing if trained.
