Job summary

Centers Laboratory of New Jersey is seeking a Phlebotomist to work weekdays in our Toms River, NJ lab. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience and excellent interpersonal skills to comfort patients during blood draws.

You will perform specimen collection, processing, labeling, and ensure safety and accuracy, reporting to the Phlebotomy Supervisor. The role requires adherence to standards and the ability to handle multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years proven experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy Technician certificate preferred; hospital or major lab training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and prepare for blood draws.
• Draw blood using proper equipment and techniques.
• Label tubes correctly and ensure proper order of draw.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary space and use PPE as required.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and keep patient records accurate.
