Job summary

Centers Laboratory of New Jersey is actively seeking Phlebotomists to work weekdays 8 AM – 7 PM at our Clifton, NJ location. The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and will report to the Phlebotomy Supervisor.

Travel to multiple sites may be required. Responsibilities include drawing blood, preparing specimens, labeling, and maintaining patient confidentiality while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills and communication.
• Understanding of standard blood drawing practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and prepare for specimen collection.
• Assemble supplies and equipment required for specimen collection.
• Determine appropriate venipuncture method based on patient factors.
• Draw blood using proper equipment and techniques.
• Label test tubes and ensure proper sample handling.
