Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a skilled Carpenter to construct and repair building frameworks on-site, including stairs, doorframes, partitions, millwork, siding, and drywall. You will read blueprints, measure materials, and ensure accurate layout while maintaining safety practices.

This full-time role requires a High School Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work in a heavy outdoor environment with physical demands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Follow safe work practices per safety program.
• Ability to take initiative and ask questions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly and removal of concrete forms for installation.
• Build and install window-frames, doors, stairways, partitions, millwork, trim, siding, drywall, and overall building frames.
• Ensure flooring, roofing, and drywall layouts are level and compatible.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
• Measure and calculate material quantities; cut, shape, and finish wood or other materials.
• Load, unload, identify and distribute materials, machinery, and tools.
• Support area housekeeping and maintain a safe jobsite.
