The Ridge Rehabilitation Center in California is seeking a Director of Staff Development (DSD) to lead clinician training, ensure compliance with state and federal mandates, and create engaging orientation programs.

You will maintain audit-ready education files for CNAs, LVNs, and RNs, coordinate training with department heads, and serve as CPR instructor or coordinate external instructors. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and offers a salary range of $80k-$90k per year.

Competenze

• Current, unencumbered LVN license issued by the State.
• Certification as a DSD.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Experience developing and delivering training programs for clinical staff.
• Familiarity with state-mandated CNA training programs and in-service requirements.
• Proven track record of maintaining complete, survey-ready employee education files.

Mansioni

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver all clinical and non-clinical training programs.
• Maintain audit-ready education files for every employee per regulations.
• Track training compliance and report gaps to the DON and Administrator.
• Facilitate CNA training programs and ensure state certification requirements are met.
• Coordinate with department heads to identify training needs and schedule in-services.
• Serve as the facility's CPR instructor (or coordinate with external instructors).
• Prepare for and support state and federal surveys related to staff education and competency.
