Whittier Pacific Care Center is seeking an experienced Director of Staff Development (DSD) with a California LVN license to lead orientation, in-service education, and CNA certification training programs as required by Title 22 regulations. The DSD will provide HR administrative support and ensure compliance with state and federal mandates.

Competenze

• At least 2 years' SNF experience, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Licensed Vocational Nurse in California.
• COVID-19 vaccination including booster.
• Active DSD certification.
• Strong organization and multitasking; able to schedule CNAs and manage staffing projections.
• Maintain employee files and ensure licenses are current.

Mansioni

• Complies with attendance policy and maintains regular, punctual attendance.
• Maintains certificates for CNAs, LVNs, RNs, RNAs, and RTs and notifies staff of expiring documents.
• Creates and oversees CNA scheduling to ensure adequate resident care coverage.
• Maintains personnel records per Title 22 and secures files.
• Plans and delivers CNA in-service training addressing 10 topics annually.
• Onboards new employees with required paperwork.
