Job summary

Puget Sound Care in West Olympia, WA, is hiring a full-time cook for our 5-Star skilled nursing facility. We offer competitive wages starting at $20/hour, negotiable based on experience, and a health/vision/dental/life/401k benefits package.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals per applicable standards, guiding the meal service with the Dietary Manager and Regional RD, and maintaining infection control and safety measures to ensure resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak, understand, read and write English.
• Food handler's permit.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations
• Direct the meal service under the direction of the Dietary Manager and Regional Registered Dietician, in order to ensure that quality food and dining service is provided
• Follow infection control and safety measures
