Fieldstone Memory Care of Olympia in Olympia, WA is seeking a friendly Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents. You will follow menus, manage kitchen safety, and help ensure daily meal service runs smoothly with attention to quality and resident preferences.

Required is a high school diploma and Food Handler’s card, plus ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. Prior kitchen experience with senior dining is preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read/write/speak English.
• Maintain current Food Handler’s card.
• Meets state health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves foods to residents within scheduled timeframes.
• Follows menu cycles and notes substitutions.
• Maintains clean, safe kitchen environment and adheres to sanitation codes.
• Manages inventory and orders supplies as needed.
• Directs dining service and ensures resident preferences are respected.
