Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions delivers care through dedicated dietary, housekeeping, and laundry services at Lenoir Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. We seek a Cook experienced in high-volume operations to join our team and prepare nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

You will plate meals with presentation in mind, support the Dietary Manager during absences, maintain kitchen sanitation, manage inventory and recipes, and handle special events with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items expertly to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Special Events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
