Job summary

Blue Water Post-Acute is seeking a dedicated Business Office Manager in Florida to oversee billing for Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private payers. You will ensure timely payments and maintain accurate receivables while delivering compassionate service to residents and families.

The ideal candidate has a college degree in Accounting or Business, SNF BOM experience, and proficiency with PCC, Excel, and QuickBooks. Full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• College degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
• Prior BOM experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility with focus on collections and managing receivables.
• Must have Medicaid and Medicare billing and collections experience.
• PCC billing system experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing, follow-up, and appeals for various claims to ensure timely payment.
• Meet all billing deadlines and adhere to a calendar for other critical deadlines.
• Educate patients and families regarding insurance processes.
• Retrieve authorizations and process refunds as needed.
• Handle write-offs, collections, and postings of funds received for services.
• Proficiency in PCC, Excel, and QuickBooks is required.
