Job summary

Autumn Woods Healthcare Facility seeks a Business Office Manager to oversee the Medicaid application process, billing, collections, and resident trust. The BOM will work with the Central Billing Office to ensure accurate billing and timely collections, while supervising office staff and coordinating with leadership.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and at least 1 year in a SNF business office with billing experience; supervisory background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and at least 1 year in a Skilled Nursing Facility business office with billing/collections and patient trust accounting.
• Supervisory experience in a business office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise business office staff including receptionist and BOM if applicable.
• Collaborate with Administrator, Central Billing Office, Regional Business Office Manager and Regional Director of Operations.
• Hire and train business office staff.
• Oversee resident trust accounting, ensuring security of patient funds.
• Manage patient billing, AR across Medicare/Medicaid/insurers.
• Ensure timely collections and month-end close per policy.
• Coordinate with Central Billing Office to clear claim edits and rejections.
• Respond to audit requests; handle other duties as assigned.
