Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Meat Cutter to cut, prepare, and display meat products while delivering friendly service. You will ensure quality, safety, and sanitation, and assist in training Meat Cutter Trainees.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing all day, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Prior meat cutting experience and completion of a butcher apprentice program are preferred; Whole Benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 14+ months retail experience.
• Completed WFM Butcher Apprentice Program or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry.
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise such as sausage and cured meats.
• Maintains quality standards and sanitation compliance.
• Supports training for Meat Cutter Trainees.
• Delivers courteous customer service and assists with stocking and merchandising.
