Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team in Beef/Pork/Lamb/Veal and Poultry departments. You will cut, prepare, and merchandise products while ensuring quality and safety standards, and provide excellent customer service.

The role requires 14+ months of retail experience and completion of the WFM Butcher Apprentice Program or equivalent training. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, is expected.

• Completion of WFM Butcher Apprentice Program or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises meat products to standard.
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise (sausage, oven-ready, cured meats).
• Ensures product meets quality standards.
• Maintains sampling program and hygiene.
• Mentors Meat Cutter Trainees.
• Delivers friendly, helpful customer service and supports suggestive selling.
• Maintains proper rotation, stocking, and pricing signage.
