Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to cut, prep, and merchandise beef, pork, and other meats in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure quality, maintain displays, and provide friendly service to customers and team members while following safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires excellent cutting skills, knowledge of various meat cuts, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends. Previous retail/meat experience preferred; Whole Benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience with meat cutting and trimming to retail cuts.
• Familiarity with Weights & Measures and sanitation standards.
• Completion of WFM Butcher Apprentice Program or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises meat products.
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise and cured meats.
• Checks quality and maintains sampling program.
• Mentors Meat Cutter Trainee(s).
• Provides courteous, customer-focused service and supports pricing accuracy.
