• Successful completion of WFM Butcher Apprentice Program or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises products per set standards.
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise (sausages, oven ready items, cured meats).
• Checks product quality against WFM standards.
• Maintains sampling program and prevents spoilage.
• Mentors Meat Cutter Trainee(s).
• Arrives on time, well groomed and prepared for shifts and trainings.
• Delivers excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling; answers phones promptly.
