Job summary

Barrett & Stokely is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Indianapolis team. You will perform preventative and responsive maintenance across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems, and maintain accurate records of work performed.

You will provide strong customer service to residents, handle after-hours on-call duties, and help prepare units for turnover by meeting vacancy deadlines. A technical background and EPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Two years maintenance experience or equivalent.
• EPA certification is required.
• Own basic tools to perform building maintenance.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and update maintenance records.
• Provide excellent customer service with timely resolution of maintenance requests.
• Handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance, drywall, and related maintenance work orders.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and respond to emergencies and property disasters.
• Complete work orders within deadlines and prepare vacants within five business days.
• Perform turns of vacant units as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment.
