Barrett & Stokely, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Maintenance Technician to assist the supervisor with preventive maintenance, repairs, and on-call coverage. You will handle drywall, plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks, and provide responsive customer service to residents.

Responsibilities include completing work orders within set timelines, responding to after-hours calls, and ensuring units are ready within five business days of vacancy while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Technical school or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum three years' maintenance experience.
• EPA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Willing to work on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling and completing preventative maintenance and update records.
• Provide excellent customer service by fixing maintenance requests promptly.
• Complete maintenance work orders for drywall, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and property disasters.
• Ensure apartments are ready within five business days of vacancy.
• Troubleshoot, repair and replace HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances.
