Job summary

Republic Services in Fall River, MA is seeking a Container Welder/Fabricator to repair, paint and maintain front, rear and roll-off containers. You will weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding, fabricate parts with shop tools, and ensure decals and safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Certified welder.
• Advanced knowledge of MIG & stick welders, plasma cutter and airless paint sprayers.
• Familiar with basic use of hand tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervisory involvement.

Responsibilities

• Weld steel and aluminum components for containers using MIG/ARC welding.
• Fabricate steel components with brake, shear and plasma cutter.
• Paint repaired containers and install lids and wheels.
• Complete required paperwork and follow safety policies.
