Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a maintenance technician to perform general plant upkeep and equipment repairs at our Ohio operations in Belpre. The role emphasizes safety, OSHA/MSHA compliance, and reliable, on-time work.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of related experience or trade school background, be able to lift heavy loads, and use tools safely. Daily tasks include reporting, crane training, and cooperating with crews to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• General plant maintenance including repairs to equipment.
• Operate torches and use hand tools safely.
• Complete daily reporting and safety paperwork.
• Attend crane school and operate Boom truck.
• Bring basic tools; employer provides some tools.
• Adhere to safety practices and company policies.
