Job summary

The Shelly Company in Ohio is seeking a Ready Mix Plant Maintenance Person to perform general plant maintenance, repair equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards. This hands-on role requires physical strength and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

You will use basic tools and welding, document daily activities, and participate in training programs. A trade school background or 2–4 years of relevant experience is preferred, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; trade school preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Mathematical ability: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems with varied instructions.
• Limited computer skills; Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are a plus.

Responsibilities

• General plant maintenance including repairs to equipment.
• Must be able to frequently climb, bend, reach, lift 75–100 lbs, and walk stairs.
• Perform general equipment repairs by cutting, welding.
• Safe and efficient use of oxygen and acetylene torches and other hand tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA/DEP and other regulations; complete daily reporting.
