Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to perform general plant upkeep and equipment repairs at our Ohio operations. The role requires the ability to climb, bend, lift 75–100 lbs, and work with various hand tools, with strict adherence to safety standards.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of related experience (trade school preferred) and be capable of reading safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; trade school preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Mathematical ability: add, subtract, multiply, and divide with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• General plant maintenance including repairs to equipment.
• Safe operation of tools and equipment per safety rules.
• Complete required daily reporting (lockout/tagout, TRACK forms).
