Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a 2nd or 3rd shift CNC Machinist with 3+ years of experience to produce precision parts in a fast-paced environment. You will operate, set up and maintain CNC machines, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.

The role emphasizes adherence to GMP/GDP, proper documentation, and continuous improvement, with a focus on safety and efficiency in daily production tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years CNC machining experience.
• Associate degree or machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• Production environment experience preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Math and English desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines within specified tolerances.
• Perform progressive machining of various parts with very close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets as needed.
• Use measurement equipment and interpret readings to ensure quality.
• Maintain PM schedule and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in the work area.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete routers/cards.
• Identify safety/Environmental issues and report them.
• Record activities on the job tracking system.
• Support Continuous Improvement activities.
