Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign frames, replace damaged parts and glass, and repaint to factory specs while collaborating with teammates to meet KPI targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and either technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tool use.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass or windshields as needed.
• Weld or fit parts and repaint vehicles to factory specifications.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect final work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
