Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experience through meticulous vehicle repair and high-quality workmanship. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while collaborating with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise of speed, quality and customer excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using various tools.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed; repair interior parts.
• Weld and attach parts and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
