Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Thorough operational knowledge of related equipment.
• MUST have 3 years previous experience.
• Pre-employment screening and background check required.
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime.
• Wear PPE in designated areas.
• Great attention to detail and stress tolerance.
• 2-5 years experience as skid steer operator in construction/mining.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate skid steer loaders to lift, load, and move materials.
• Use attachments (buckets, forks, augers) for various tasks.
• Prepare sites by clearing debris and grading ground.
• Maintain equipment: clean, fueled, functioning.
• Load/unload materials from trucks or transportation.
• Transport materials around the job site.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe environment.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and report issues.
• Coordinate with workers and supervisors for efficient completion.
• Communicate progress and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
