Job summary

Synergen's Hydroline, located in Bossier City, Louisiana, is seeking a Skid Steer Equipment Operator to manage CTLs, deploy lay flat hose, and assist with yard projects.

You will perform equipment maintenance, participate in rig up/down meetings, stay compliant with safety standards, and communicate plans clearly with the foreman to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of water transfer experience preferred.
• Valid license for GVWR 10,001+ lb is required.
• Knowledge of machinery and routine maintenance is essential.
• PEC, H2S, forklift, and First Aid/CPR safety certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication to coordinate with teammates and foreman.

Responsibilities

• Operate CTL to deploy lay flat hose and place road crossings as needed.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, including daily greasing, fuel checks, and service intervals.
• Attend rig up and rig down meetings and communicate plans to the team.
• Coordinate with Foreman on progress, changes, and project needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, JSA, inspections, and checklists.
• Deliver work to a high standard while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Job description

We are actively seeking an Skid Steer Equipment Operator at Hydroline, a Synergen company, located in Bossier City, Louisiana. An Equipment Operator’s main focus will be to operate Compact Tracked Loaders (CTL’s), commonly referred to as skid steer. Based on the business and district needs, the duties will fluctuate between rig up, rig down, and yard projects. They will be responsible for understanding and adhering to company standards and expectations. Quality & Safety will be a focal point in all matters.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Operate CTL to deploy lay flat hose, placing road crossing and manifolds where needed
• Properly inspect and maintain equipment which includes but not limited to daily greasing, monitoring all fuel levels, taking note of any damage occurred, and ensuring adequate service intervals
• Attend and participate in rig up and rig down meetings and ensure full understanding of the plan and can properly communicate the plan to teammates
• Constantly communicate with Foreman on progress, changes, and needs for executing project plan
• Ensure the compliance of company policies and standards are always followed, ie: JSA’s, equipment inspections, checklist, etc.
• Ensure work is executed to the highest standard while meeting the customers’ expectations and is done safely and compliantly

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• At least one year of experience in Water Transfer preferred
• Current Driver’s License that allows driving a vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 10,001 pounds or greater
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
• Current safety certifications to include PEC, H2S, Forklift, First Aid/CPR preferred
• Excellent and clear communication to safely and efficiently complete job tasks with team membersLead by example, teach, motivate, and mentor team members, and execute daily goalsDrive a culture where our equipment and work is organized, clean, and presentable
