Job summary

Synergen in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Compact Tract Loader Operator to support Continental Drilling and Service. You will operate a compact track loader, welding machine, and related equipment on job sites, perform manual labor, and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.

This role requires a valid driver’s license for GVWR 10,001+ pounds and basic mechanical troubleshooting. Welding experience is preferred.

Synergen is a provider of custom support services for the oil & gas industry. We are recruiting a Compact Tract Loader Operator for Continental Drilling and Service in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Essential Functions

• Operate compact track loader, welding machine, pump hoist, and polyethylene pipe storage trailer
• Perform manual labor duties
• Operate welding machine on location and weld pipe as instructed
• Follow all company standard operating procedures
• Maintain inventory of critical spares on equipment and report any malfunctions
• Perform pre, in‑route, and post trip inspections of commercial vehicles
• Ensure equipment is kept clean and orderly at all times

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee frequently uses hands or fingers; handles or feels objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level is usually moderate to high, and the work environment may include occasional outdoor exposure to elements and weather.
