Job summary

Synergen’s Hydroline division in the Haynesville District seeks a Crew Leader to direct and mentor the shift on pumping jobs. You will guide rig up/rig down activities, oversee multiple crews, and ensure safety and quality align with client and company standards.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on experience in water transfer services; expect variable schedules and outdoor work in a rugged field environment.

Qualifications

• One year of experience and/or equivalent training in water transfer services.
• Valid Driver’s License for GVWR 10,001 lb or greater.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, their design, use, and maintenance.
• Current safety certifications (PEC, H2S, Forklift, First Aid/CPR) preferred.
• Excellent communication to safely complete tasks with the team.
• Lead by example, motivate, and mentor the crew toward goals.
• Maintain organized, clean, and presentable equipment and work area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rig up & rig down duties and communicate the plan to the team.
• Oversee traffic control, location, and frac crews.
• Maintain ongoing communication with supervision on progress and needs.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety checks, and inspections.

We are actively seeking a Crew Leader at Hydroline, a Synergen company, for the Haynesville District that would be responsible for overseeing and leading their shift while on pumping jobs. When on rig up and rig down projects, they will lead a crew and carryout task assigned by supervision. Based on the business and district needs, the duties will fluctuate between pumping jobs and rig up & rig down projects. They will be expected to lead, guide, and mentor employees while executing operational goals. Quality & Safety will be a focal point in all matters.

Essential Functions of the position are described below:

• When performing rig up & rig down duties, participate in rig up & rig down meetings and ensure full understanding of the plan to then properly communicate to the team
• Oversee traffic control crews, source & location crews, and frac crews
• Constantly communicate with assigned supervision on progress, changes, and needs for executing project plan
• Ensure the compliance of company policies and standards are always followed, ie: pre shift tailgate meetings, JSA’s, equipment inspections, checklist, etc.
• Ensure work is executed to the highest standard while meeting the customers’ expectations and is done safely and compliantly
• Consistently evaluate team members performance and provide necessary feedback for enhancement or improvement

A qualified applicant must posses the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• One year of experience and/or equivalent training preferred in water transfer services
• Current Driver’s License that allows driving a vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 10,001 pounds or greater
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Current safety certifications to include PEC, H2S, Forklift, First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Excellent and clear communication to safely and efficiently complete job tasks with team members.
• Lead by example, teach, motivate, and mentor team members, and execute daily goals
• Drive a culture where our equipment and work is organized, clean, and presentable

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Also includes consistently working outdoors in elements/weather. Work schedule varies according to demands of job assignments.
