Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a Ski & Ride School Manager to oversee daily operations in winter and summer programs. You will support frontline leaders, manage payroll and staffing, and drive exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in leadership within ski/outdoor recreation, plus strong communication, budget and HRIS/CMS/LMS experience. This is a full-time, year-round role based at Solitude Mountain Resort.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years in a leadership role within ski & ride/outdoor recreation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of ski school operations, safety procedures, and best practices.
• Experience with MS Office and HRIS/CMS/LMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of ski & ride school and summer programs.
• Lead scheduling, staffing, inventory, timekeeping, and budgeting.
• Develop and mentor supervisors, instructors, and staff.
• Ensure high-quality guest experiences and staff engagement.
• Collaborate with IT, mountain ops, sales, and rentals to improve operations.
