Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort seeks a Ski & Ride School Manager to oversee winter operations and summer programs, ensuring top-notch lesson experiences and staff performance. You will partner with the Snowsports Director and supervisors to manage payroll, safety, hiring, training, and budgeting while upholding resort values.

You will lead a team of supervisors, instructors, and support staff, drive guest satisfaction, and optimize resources through data-driven decisions, all within a dynamic mountain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Hospitality, Business Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years in a leadership role within a ski & ride school or outdoor recreation environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with empathy and fairness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supervisors to oversee on-hill and indoor staff for daily operations.
• Lead scheduling, staffing, inventory, timekeeping, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and manage supervisors, instructors, and support staff; foster a positive work environment.
• Oversee guest-centric ski school operations; monitor guest experience metrics and address issues.
