Job summary

Timberline Lodge’s Wy’East Café seeks friendly baristas to serve beverages and prepare cafe items for guests on the slopes. You will take orders, operate the POS, and ensure fast, accurate service while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include making coffee/tea, serving food items, and assisting with dishwashing and table bussing as needed. Uphold safety standards and provide excellent customer experiences in a seasonal winter setting.

Qualifications

• Must be service-oriented.
• Detail-oriented with high customer service standards.
• Use proper etiquette with guests and coworkers.
• Must have detailed knowledge of menu and banquet offerings.
• Must be proficient in up-selling of products and services.
• Must know and follow all proper service procedures.
• Must have valid Oregon Food Handlers permit.
• Must have OLCC banquet service permit.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and make coffee, tea, and other drinks to guest specifications.
• Operate the Point of sale system and process payments.
• Prepare items on Wy'East cafe and Y'Bar menus.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Dishwashing, bussing tables, sweeping and mopping as assigned.
• Maintain service areas and seating areas.
• Describe menu items and suggest products to guests.
