Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is seeking a Ski or Snowboard Instructor to lead lessons for guests of all ages, prioritizing safety and fun in a dynamic snowsports center. You will have access to PSIA/AASI Education Staff training and the chance to progress toward instructor certification while delivering exceptional guest experiences at this AAA Four Diamond resort.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching or teaching experience with children preferred.

What you will be doing:

• Lead ski or snowboard lessons for students of all ages.
• Ensure safety of guests and associates at all times
• Perform a variety of tasks around the Snowsports Center
• You will also have access to training and coaching opportunities with PSIA/AASI Education Staff while working towards instructor certification.
• Attend training with PSIA Education Staff and certified instructors while on duty to continue your education and improve your skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

• Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Prior coaching experience or position working with children preferred
• Previous coaching experience is helpful
• Great customer service and communication skills required
• Safety minded; Positive attitude and willingness to work with children required
• Intermediate level skier or snowboarder
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Able to tolerate extreme weather conditions
• Flexible schedule including but not limited to nights, weekends and holidays
